Diksha McCordDiksha McCord is an ordained minister and certified



yoga and meditation teacher at Ananda Village, a spiritual



community near Grass Valley, Calif., where she has lived since



1993. She currently serves as a teacher and minister at The



Expanding Light, Ananda's guest retreat. She co-directs the



Meditation Teacher Training and the Spiritual Counseling training. She is the author of two cookbooks for health and vitality (Global Kitchen and Vegetarian Cooking for Starters). She also made four CDs, meditation for inner peace, Awaken your inner powers-guided affirmations, How to Know and Trust your Inner Guidance, and Journey into Oneness.
Diksha grew up in Israel, traveled around the world (including living in Japan for three years), and settled in the United States in 1990. Her goal is to spread the universally applicable principles of spirituality that lie at the heart of yoga and all true spiritual traditions.
